Here’s Why You Should Never Turn The A\C On After Entering Your Car!
This is not about the change in temperature – it’s about something more horrifying! Many drivers don’t take this seriously, but after reading this article, you will never turn the A\C on after entering your car again!
When your car is parked in a cold place, it produces about 400-800 mg. of benzene, a colorless liquid with a sweet scent which is water and air soluble and highly flammable. Benzene is often used in plastics, explosives, color and as a solvent as well. At high temperatures, the amount of benzene produced by your car rises up to 4000 mg., which is about 40 times the recommended amount!
This means that when you enter a locked car and turn the A\C on, you inhale a lethal combination of benzene which damages our organs. The worst thing of all is that our body is unable to flush the substance from the system completely.
In order to avoid the health risks benzene brings, you should lower the windows and open the doors for 2-5 minutes before starting your car. Afterwards, it’s safe to turn the A\C on and enjoy the drive.
