See What Happens Inside Your Body When You Eat Pork, And Learn Why You Should Avoid It
Consumption of pork is forbidden in some religions due to pigs being considered unclean animals. Pigs consume everything they see – from feces and urine to spoiled food, and the worst thing is that these toxins can’t be eliminated from their system, so they accumulate in their tissues and organs.
Yersinia enterocolitica is a contaminant present in a pork that causes vomiting, diarrhea, cramps, sickness and fever. Besides Yersinia, this meat can also contain ractopamine which can be fatal. Taenia solium is a tapeworm that lives in a pig’s intestines and causes loss of appetite and contamination, while another parasitic worm called Trichinella is often present in pork and causes fever, myalgia and malaise. The menangle infection can cause chills and migraine, while Hepatitis E infections is responsible for nausea and fatigue.
As you can see, pork is not exactly what you’d call clean meat. This is why it needs to be properly cooked at high temperature in order to eliminate all parasites within it. You should also wash your hands when touching raw pork. However, even when properly cooked, this type of meat is still dangerous as pigs feed on substandard foods. Consuming pork increases the risk of several diseases.
Pig farms rarely offer clean air and environment for pigs, and the animals are often given medications and anti-infection agents as food instead of green grass.
