44-YEAR OLD WOMAN COMES FROM THE USA TO MARRY A 12TH PASS INDIAN MAN

The social media has made the world a global village. Meeting people online and then deciding to marry is a common practice in the West. However, in India, things are different. Indians don’t really associate with people they meet online and getting married to them is a far-fetched dream for us. Things don’t work like that in here!

However, here is a love story where the couple met online and decided to get married in some time. The story is about a boy from Kadipur village in Haryana and a woman from the States.

Reportedly, Deepak Kaushik, who is the son of a farmer, had sent a friend request to USA’s Shelly Marin in June last year. The two quickly started chatting and fell in love. And it was in January this year when Deepak proposed Shelly to marry him.

While Deepak was prepared to take a No as the answer, Shelly actually responded in positive and confessed her love for him.

Shelly, who is 44 and has a painter father, belongs to New York and left her job and came to India on May 24 to marry Deepak. The couple tied a knot according to Hindu customs in Connaught Place’s Arya Samaj temple on June 4 this year.

Their marriage got registered on June 13 and on July 17, the wedding reception was held.

While Shelly’s family has no issues with her marriage, Deepak’s family has also approved of her. Currently living in India on a tourist Visa, Shelly is learning Hindi and plans to settle down here.
