JUST ONE AND A HALF HOURS AFTER DELIVERING HER BABY, SHE WENT FOR AN EXAM

Often we ecuse if failed to do certain task. But the story below will make you rethink. The story of simple woman from Bihar, whose persuasion to give her B.Ed exam just one and a half hours after delivering a baby is pure gold.

Her name is Ranju Kumari. Little did Ranju know that she will develop labour pains hours before her exam, for which she had prepared whole-heartedly for. She was rushed to the hospital, but she was pretty adamant on giving her exam.

The doctors who helped her deliver the baby didn’t want her to leave the hospital after such a short notice. The ambulance went to drop her off at the exam menu and she was allowed to give the exam even after being 30 minutes late.

The centre’s superintendent, Mamta Rani, allowed her to write her examination in the ambulance, with an invigilator. Ranju wanted to take better care of her children, and therefore, she wanted to give this exam.

Ranju’s story makes us believe that the awareness about education is spreading. With so many programs and projects undertaken by the govt, this surely seems like a victory for all of us.
